This herbal infused vinegar will help to balance your scalp, nourish the roots, and strengthen the follicles.
No your hair won't smell like vinegar after it dries ;)
“Apple cider vinegar is just one of those gifts from Mother Nature that’s just too good to not utilize for everything, including your hair,” says celebrity hairstylist Michelle Cleveland.
“Healthy hair has a pH range of about five or six, and your scalp is in the four-and-a-half to five-and-a-half range,” explains Cleveland. “When hair is looking dull, frizzy, and lifeless, it's usually the result of the pH level being too alkaline.” That’s where apple cider vinegar enters the picture. “It has a good amount of natural acidity in it, which will help bring hair back into balance,” says Cleveland.
"Any hair type that is suffering from frizz and dehydration [can benefit from ACV], as these characteristics are the result of the hair cuticle being left open from either chemical or product damage,” she says. “Additionally, if you feel like your hair is lifeless and has too much product buildup, ACV is a great way to help naturally remove heavy layers built up on the hair strands.”
